The Painted Desert Collection is inspired by Advanced Style women and the beautiful colors of the Painted Desert in Arizona. Soft subtle colors along with vibrant hues create such a great landscape.
This piece is comprised by various techniques. Flameworked Glass, Hand Carved Glass, Shrink Plastic, Vinyl, and Bicycle Inner Tubes.
The colorful and textured glass is created by flameworking discarded beer bottles, while the ivory color glass is glass from Italy where I hand carved them to resemble the skeleton of a saguaro cactus.
Hand painted repurposed bicycle inner tube accents as well as colored shrink plastic bits.
