This piece is a Bolo Tie: Cast and lampworked sculptural face. The abstract design is all glass, Cast glass using lots of layers of powders mixed in a medium. I then took it into the torch to shape the final hourglass shape, and add a slider bead on the back.
The bolo tie is strung with black color paracord and gun metal tips.
The slide on the back of the tie is made at the torch and attached to the sgraffito part via the torch flame.
41” long paracord. Thus rests at about 21” when worn.
The glass decorative part is 3″ x 1.5″
